Services of TICW
"Shanghai Electric Cable Research Institute"(SECRI), established in 1957, is the national Class I scientific research institute formerly directly under one of ministries and commissions of the State Council, now owned by Shanghai SASAC. It is the center for research, design, testing, information, standard and industrial work in wire and cable industry in China, with 400 employees, including 1 academician certified by Academy of Engineering, more than 90 professor-level senior engineers and 200 engineers which form an indispensable national team in wire and cable industry in China. TICW established in 1983 by Testing Center under "Shanghai Electric Cable Research Institute", and "Shanghai Wire and Cable Test Station", is a third-party product testing laboratory independent of development, manfacturing and trading of wire and cable products, the first wire and cable testing laboratory in China and one of the first organizations engaged in product certification and testing from China. |

IECEE CTL sets up 12 expert teams, from which Ms. Zhu Yonghua, TICW supervisor from technical expert team, is the only expert responsible for explaining questions on tests from global wire and cable CB laboratory, providing advices from expert team and drafting appropriate resolutions of the CTL.
In addition to continuously improving relevant static testing, she also actively develops different dynamic tests, such as life assessment for cross-linked cables.

Products are delivered or installed until they pass routine tests according to standards
Dynamic Test
Expansion possibility of transmission and distribution lines are explored and projected and permitted service life is determined during type experiment and long-term aging test in simulation site affected by temperature, humidity, environmental conditions and other factors in according to standards.
